Dumping Ground

2021-10-15 by Mother Earth

Dear Humans,

You clog my lakes and my seas
Plastic bags hang in my trees
Tons of bottles wash ashore
My oceans cannot take much more

Pacific salmon, chinook and chum
Are disappearing one by one
If fish keep dying from the heat
There won’t be enough to eat

If you treat my rivers like your toilet
To drink the water, you’ll have to boil it
Ride the waves where they are found
But they are not a dumping ground

Always remember, Mama know best,
Mother Nature
