Letters From The Home Planet
Help Us Spread the Word by Joining our Letters from the Home Planet Campaign
The spark that will ignite climate action are the daily 30 second to one-minute Letters from the Home Planet videos, recorded by celebrities, notables, and people who just care about the planet.
The “Letters” (many of them poems) were written by writers, authors, environmentalists and 5th to 8th graders (They didn’t hold back!).
Some Letters from the Home Planet are funny, sometimes angry, but always thoughtful messages to humans from Mother Nature about how we’ve polluted our planet.
Of course, every video ends with a positive and hopeful message from Mother Nature about what each of us can do to collectively make a difference.
Here are four ways you can help the planet and future generations:
SHARE
Share our daily Letters from the Home Planet videos with your contacts and followers on social media. Encourage them to share them with their contacts.
WRITE A LETTER
Write your own Letter from the Home Planet, from Mother Nature to humans, calling humans for not doing enough to deal with the Climate Crisis.
If your Letter from the Home Planet is selected for our social media campaign, we’ll plant 50 trees in your name and send you a certificate honoring your commitment to the planet..

RECORD A VIDEO
Record your performance of a Letter from the Home Planet. You can record a Letter from the Home Planet that that’s already on our website or write your own Letter, record it and submit it.
If you record a video for us and would like it be anonymous, we will not identify you.
If your video-recorded Letter from the Home Planet is selected for our social media campaign, we’ll plant 50 trees in your name and send you a certificate acknowledging your contribution.
MAKE EARTH DAY EVERY DAY
Of course, the most important way to support Mother Nature, planet Earth and future generations is to take responsibility for acting as if every day is Earth Day and live more sustainably. Reduce. Reuse. And recycle.
